Learning Objectives:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the key steps to hiring the right people and structuring an onboarding experience that sets employees up for success from day one.
  • Recognize the most common compliance pitfalls small businesses face during the hiring process and know the basic safeguards to put in place.
  • Apply a simple, repeatable framework for building a workplace culture where both the business and its people grow, succeed, and thrive together.

Program presented virtually on Zoom in partnership with the Lake Cook Career Collaborative.

First established in 1949, Lake Villa District Library serves Lake Villa Township and those who live within the township’s boundaries; including the communities of Lake Villa, Lindenhurst, portions of Round Lake Beach, Round Lake Heights and Antioch. The population served is approximately 40,000.
